Caleb Williams gets high praise from Raiders HC Pete Carroll
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll had nothing but good things to say about Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.
The Chicago Bears are hoping to get a little winning streak going after last week’s dominant victory over the Dallas Cowboys, but in order to make it happen, they’ll have to make a successful road trip to Las Vegas this weekend to face the Raiders.
If the Bears can get a similar performance out of quarterback Caleb Williams this week, that should be a problem. Last year’s No. 1 overall draft pick threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns, with no interceptions, earning NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
As both teams prepare for this week’s game, Raiders head coach Pete Carroll was asked about Williams, and he had nothing but praise for the young signal-caller:
Carroll brings a ton of experience to the table as a defensive coach, but there’s only so much you can do to defend a quarterback with the kind of rare talent that Williams brings to the table.
Here’s hoping Williams can deliver another epic performance in Vegas this week, and live up to all the praise just heaped onto him by the opposing head coach.
