Chase Daniel loves the way Caleb Williams’ game is trending
Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel is raving about how Caleb Williams is developing as the Chicago Bears’ franchise passer.
Plenty of doubters were ready to give up on Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams after just one roller-coaster rookie season, and a couple of inconsistent performances to start his sophomore campaign in 2025.
But after his award-winning performance in last week’s dominant win over the Chicago Bears, it’s clear that all the elite physical traits and rare potential that made Williams the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s NFL Draft is still there, and things are moving in the right direction.
Appearing on “The Kay Adams Show” this week, Former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel broke down why Williams’ game is trending upward in the best ways right now:
Daniel also recently broke down some of Williams’ film, highlighting the mental side of his game that allows him to maximize his rare physical talent:
Williams is clearly starting to blossom under new head coach Ben Johnson, and if this upward trend continues, it won’t be long until he’s putting himself in the conversation among the best quarterbacks in the league, which is exactly what the Bears expected when they selected him at the top of the draft last year.
In the meantime, Bears fans can just enjoy every step of his development journey, and the success that’s likely to come with it, starting this week in Las Vegas against the Raiders.
