Caleb Williams earned Maxx Crosby’s respect with gutsy Week 4 performance
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams got some high praise from Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby this week.
It wasn’t always pretty, but Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears got the job done on the road last week, beating the Las Vegas Raiders on a blocked field goal in the final moments.
The Bears got the win despite a dominant performance from Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who was a constant thorn in Williams’ side all afternoon.
After the game, Williams had high praise for Crosby, who returned the favor on his podcast this week:
Crosby spent his entire NFL career in the same division as Patrick Mahomes, so he knows a thing or two about what an elite quarterback looks like. The fact that he’s already willing to endorse Williams to this degree after their matchup Sunday speaks volumes about what the Bears have in their franchise quarterback.
This won’t be the last time Williams earns the respect of an elite opponent with the way he goes about his business on the field.
