Jaquan Brisker is wreaking havoc behind the line of scrimmage
Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker has been a big-play machine this season when he comes downhill as a blitzer and a run defender.
One of the biggest things holding the Chicago Bears defense back over the past few years has been injuries, but the return of a healthy Jaquan Brisker is having a massive impact on the unit’s ability to make big plays behind the line of scrimmage.
Brisker has been one of the league’s most impressive pressure players through the first seven weeks of the 2025 NFL season, wreaking havoc as both a pass rusher and a run stuffer:
A former second-round pick out of Penn State, Brisker’s versatility and playmaking ability were his calling cards coming out of the college ranks, but injuries had kept him from reaching his full potential throughout the first few years of his NFL career.
Now that he’s fully healthy, Brisker is reminding everyone what he’s capable of when the ball comes his way, and the Bears are unleashing his unique skill set effectively so far this season.
Let’s hope this trend keeps up, and Brisker avoids injury the rest of the way while continuing to set a big-play tone for the entire defense.
