Bears injury report: Good news for Rome Odunze, DJ Moore
The Chicago Bears saw their two star wide receivers return to practice in a limited capacity Thursday as they prepare for Week 9.
The Chicago Bears released their latest injury report ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and there were some positive developments for their banged-up wide receiver group.
Rome Odunze (heel) and DJ Moore (hip/groin) were both limited participants in Thursday’s practice after missing the Wednesday session. The same was true for another receiver, Olamide Zaccheaus (knee).
Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson was upgraded to full participation Thursday after being limited in Wednesday’s practice (shoulder).
The biggest note of bad news was the fact that running back D’Andre Swift (groin) missed practice Thursday for the second day in a row. That was the case for three other players, including rookie wide receiver Luther Burden III (concussion).
Here’s the official report from the team:
The Bears will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week, a defeat that broke their four-game winning streak. Having Odunze and Moore both in the lineup would be a huge boost, especially if the ground game takes a hit with Swift potentially out.
