WATCH: Ben Johnson’s post-game speech after dramatic win vs. Bengals
Check out head coach Ben Johnson’s fiery reaction to the Chicago Bears’ incredible Week 9 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Chicago Bears pulled off an incredible win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and head coach Ben Johnson was fired up about it in the locker room after the game.
A 58-yard touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to Colston Loveland in the final moments sealed the victory for the Bears, who overcame a dismal fourth-quarter performance from their defense to score their fifth win in the last six games.
Here was Johnson’s fiery reaction to his team when the dust settled:
Obviously, there are plenty of things that need fixing if the Bears want to be legitimate contenders in a tough NFC North this season, particularly on defense. But it feels a lot better to go about fixing those problems when you’re coming off a win, instead of reeling from a shocking defeat.
Now sitting at 5-3 after an 0-2 start, the Bears can feed off of this positive momentum moving forward, making the improvements necessary to keep pace in their division and work toward a potential postseason run.
