Caleb Williams earns recognition from Pro Football Hall of Fame
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams impressed the Pro Football Hall of Fame with historic numbers in Week 9.
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had a performance for the history books last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, and it’s earned him some impressive attention.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame recognized Williams’ rare outing on their social media platforms, pointing out the versatility he showed as both a passer and a receiver Sunday:
In addition to carving up the Bengals’ defense to the tune of 280 yards and three touchdowns through the air (with no interceptions), Williams also rushed for 53 yards on five attempts. Perhaps most impressively, Williams also caught two passes for 23 yards and another touchdown.
Williams still has a long way to go before he’s earned a gold jacket and a place in Canton of his own, but putting together rare feats like this that get noticed by the Hall of Fame is certainly a strong move in the right direction.
