Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland is getting some league-wide recognition after his clutch performance last week.
Loveland was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his impressive outing in the Bears’ dramatic Week 9 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals:
Loveland caught six passes for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the 58-yarder that sealed the Bears’ victory with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation.
The No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Michigan, Loveland had a slow start to his rookie season. But with his performance on Sunday, he’s starting to prove why the Bears valued him so highly.
Don’t be surprised if Loveland continues to carve out a bigger role in the passing game as he develops more trust and chemistry with Caleb Williams.
