Ben Johnson heaps praise on Bears WR DJ Moore
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson loves the skills and attitude wide receiver DJ Moore brings to his team.
One of the key parts of the blockbuster trade the Chicago Bears made to trade down from the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft was acquiring wide receiver DJ Moore from the Carolina Panthers.
Moore has been a huge boost to Chicago’s offense since arriving, using his versatility and big-play ability to jump-start unit that was struggling to create explosive plays.
New head coach Ben Johnson is a huge fan of Moore, telling the media this week that even Moore’s attitude and approach to the game is of significant value to the locker room:
The Bears are putting up impressive numbers on offense so far this season, and Moore continues to be a huge part of their success. Whether he’s catching touchdown passes, or throwing them, or running them in, there’s always a high chance of putting points on the board when Moore touches the ball.
Combining his on-field value with his presence as a teammate and leader, it’s clear the Bears have something special in this veteran pass-catcher.
