Bears are winning, but Caleb Williams isn’t satisfied
Caleb Williams is loving the Chicago Bears’ recent success, but he knows they’re just getting started, and he’s got higher aspirations.
The Chicago Bears are off to a strong start this season, but it’s still not good enough for Caleb Williams.
After an 0-2 start, the Bears have won six of their last seven games, and Williams has led the way with some stellar performances. That continued last week against the New York Giants, when Williams mounted yet another fourth-quarter comeback to secure the victory.
After the game, Williams was understandably hyped up on the field, but made it clear in the locker room that he’s still not satisfied with where the team is right now:
There’s still plenty of improvement needed on defense, especially as that unit continues to be ravaged by injuries. But if Williams and the offense keeps playing at a high level, the Bears are going to have a chance to win every week, regardless of their opponent.
For a team that has never had a true franchise quarterback, Williams has been a revelation for Bears fans this season. And while the team’s success has followed his high-level play, he still wants to take things to another level.
That’s great news for Bears fans.
