Ben Johnson is all of us playing Madden franchise mode
Ben Johnson is doing for the Chicago Bears what he used to do while playing EA Sports’ “Madden NFL” video game.
As it turns out, Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson is just like the rest of us.
At least when it comes to playing EA Sports’ “Madden NFL” video game, that is.
Earlier this week, Johnson was asked by the media about his personal experience playing the popular football game, and his favorite way to play is a path shared by many fans:
Now he’s doing the real thing in Chicago, taking a Bears franchise that had the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft just a year ago and leading them to the top of the NFC North. After winning seven of their last eight games, the Bears take a 7-3 record into Sunday’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
It’s always fun to rebuild one of the worst teams in the league in Madden, but Johnson’s definitely having way more fun rebuilding one of the NFL’s most historic franchise back into a championship contender.
Bears fans are enjoying it quite a bit, too.
