Bears get bad news on multiple defensive starters
The Chicago Bears will still be without two starters in their defensive backfield Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Chicago Bears will still be without two of their starters in the defensive backfield this week.
Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon will both remain on injured reserve, and won’t be activated for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler:
Johnson and Gordon have both been cleared to return to practice, and continue to work their way back to full strength. It looks like they’re not quite ready yet, but it seems like there’s a good chance they could return next week, when the Bears face the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Bears have struggled with injuries throughout the secondary all season long, but it looks like they could be getting healthy just in time to make a playoff run. Still, Bears fans will have to wait at least one more week to see Johnson and Gordon back in the starting lineup.
