Caleb Williams hands to D'Andre Swift Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears made an emphatic statement Friday night with a road win against the Philadelphia Eagles, led by a dominant performance from their running game.

Veteran D’Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai each rushed for over 125 yards and a touchdown, splitting 40 carries and averaging six yards per attempt.

A seventh-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Rutgers, Monangai continues to look like one of this year’s biggest steals:

Swift continues to be a big-play machine for the Bears, using his quickness and sharp cutting ability to embarrass would-be tacklers:

Friday night’s performance was one of historic proportions for the tandem:

While most of the talk throughout the season has been about Caleb Williams and his vast array of pass-catching weapons through the air, the Bears’ are finding valuable balance on offense. The combo of Swift and Monangai continue to be a huge boost, taking pressure of Williams and the passing game, and keeping opposing defenses guessing.

If they can maintain this level of play, the Bears will continue to be one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL down the stretch.
