Andrew Whitworth says Packers are still better than Bears
Former NFL offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth doesn’t think the top-seeded Chicago Bears are even the best team in their own division.
The Chicago Bears currently sit atop the NFC playoff standings with a 9-3 record, but are they even the best team in their own division?
Former NFL offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth doesn’t think so.
Appearing on “The Rich Eisen Show,” Whitworth said the Green Bay Packers are still the best team in the NFC North right now:
The Bears are obviously leading the division right now with an NFC-best 9-3 record, and just went on the road to beat the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, 24-15. Just three weeks ago, the Packers scored just once against the Eagles in a 10-7 loss, and that was at home.
Chicago also just completed a perfect month of November, going 5-0 as they climbed up to the top of the NFC standings.
I guess we’ll find out the real answer on the field this week, as the Bears travel to Lambeau Field to face off with the Packers.
