Nahshon Wright earns NFL honor after impressive month
Chicago Bears defensive back Nahshon Wright has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for November.
Chicago Bears defensive back Nahshon Wright is getting some well-earned recognition from the NFL after an impressive month of November.
Wright was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month this week:
Wright has been a source of splash plays all year long for the Bears, and in November, he helped them go 5-0 with plenty of highlight-reel moments. He finished the month with 19 tackles, six pass breakups, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
Overall, Wright’s play has been inconsistent at times, but his ability to create takeaways has been vital to a defense that leads the league in turnovers forced. Chicago’s turnover differential of plus-17 is nearly twice that of the second-best team in the league, and Wright has been a huge part of that.
Hopefully, he can keep up this level of play for the rest of the season as the Bears try to make a deep playoff run.
