Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson

Ben Johnson was supposed to transform the Chicago Bears offense as their new head coach, and that’s exactly what he’s done.

In his first season, Johnson has turned the Bears into one of the most explosive and productive units in the entire NFL. His creative scheme and strong play-calling skills, combined with the talent of quarterback Caleb Williams and the rest of the roster, have generated big numbers for Chicago on that side of the ball.

He’s also doing it with the kind of flare that is impressing future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowksi.

Appearing on “The Kay Adams Show” this week, Gronk said he prefers Johnson’s offense to Matt LeFleur’s offense with the Green Bay Packers:

Yeah, I’m pretty sure he just called the Packers’ offense boring.

Hey, anyone who prefers the Bears over the Packers is good with us, no matter the reason.

Gronk knows a thing or two about dynamic offense, having put up ridiculous numbers of his own with both the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also knows what a championship offense looks like, having won multiple Super Bowls with Tom Brady and the Pats, and then another one after following the GOAT to Tampa.

Trust us, Gronk…we’re enjoying this offense just as much as you are.
