Bears WR Rome Odunze ruled out for Week 14 vs. Packers
The Chicago Bears have ruled out wide receiver Rome Odunze for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze will miss Sunday’s road game against the Green Bay Packers.
Odunze has been ruled out with a foot injury.
It’s a disappointing development for Odunze and the Bears, but not necessarily a surprising one. Odunze had missed early-week practices earlier in the season and still managed to play games by sneaking in on-field action on Friday, but that wasn’t the case this time around.
In his absence, the Bears will have to get step-up performances from the rest of their pass-catching group, especially highly drafted rookies Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III.
Don’t be surprised if Odunze’s absence also increases the Bears’ commitment to what has been a dominant ground game lately.
