Colin Cowherd: Bears still ‘legit’ despite loss to Packers
Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd is still impressed with the Chicago Bears, despite Sunday’s narrow road loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears came up just short Sunday on the road against the Green Bay Packers, but Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd still came away impressed.
The daily talk show host called Chicago’s narrow defeat at Lambeau Field the “best loss” of the season in the NFL, and still thinks the Bears are one of of the best teams in the league:
The Bears dug themselves out of a hefty deficit in the second half, and had their chances to win the game late. They couldn’t finish the job, but still showed signs that they’re going to keep being a tough out, even against the other top dogs in the NFL.
That’s probably not much consolation to anyone inside Halas Hall right now, as the Bears have quickly gone from the No. 1 seed in the NFC to a wild-card spot in just one week. But long-term, it’s important to acknowledge that even in defeat, there’s plenty of evidence that Chicago is building something special.
Let’s see if they can bounce back this week, and take out their frustrations on the Cleveland Browns in front of their home crowd at Soldier Field on Sunday.
