NFL playoff picture: Where are the Bears after Week 14?
See where the Chicago Bears currently sit in the NFC playoff race following last week’s road loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears suffered a crushing defeat on the road to the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, but what impact does the loss have on their playoff standing?
A big one, as it turns out.
In just one week, the Bears have gone from the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff bracket to the final wild-card spot as the No. 7 seed:
The Bears still have four weeks to climb back up the standings, but it won’t be easy. While they host the Cleveland Browns this week, Chicago finishes with a three-game gauntlet against the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and a rematch at home against the Packers.
Beating the Browns shouldn’t be terribly difficult, but the Bears will have to bring their best if they want to run the table. That’s what it will take to get back to the top of the seeding in a tightly contested NFC this season.
