The Chicago Bears (9-4) will play a must-win game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns (3-10) in conditions that will be tough to bear. No pun intended.

Temperatures could drop to -4 degrees at Soldier Field in Week 15, with the wind chill, which could neutralize any advantage the Bears have on offense against a Browns defense that is underratedly good.

In fact, the Browns rank second against the pass in 2025. Combined with such frigid conditions in Chicago on Sunday, it’ll be tough sledding for Caleb Williams and the passing game.

But there is some good news for Chicago’s aerial attack. The team’s No. 1 wide receiver, Rome Odunze, is expected to return to the lineup after missing Week 14 with a stress fracture in his foot.

Odunze leads the Bears in every major receiving category this season. He has 44 catches for 661 yards and six touchdowns in what has been something of a breakout second year in the NFL.

Indeed, Odunze’s hot start — he had five touchdowns in the first four games — has cooled, but he’s undeniably Williams’ security blanket. Getting him back in the lineup will be a boon for an offense that will need all the heat it can get in Week 15.

“Rome is such a vital part of what we do,” coach Ben Johnson said after Sunday’s loss to the Packers. “And in a lot of ways, for Caleb, it is his blankie.”

Williams is getting his blankie back.
