Bears clinch NFC North title with Packers’ loss to Ravens
The Chicago Bears have clinched their first NFC North title since 2018 with a little help from the Baltimore Ravens.
The Chicago Bears are once again kings of the NFC North.
Saturday night’s loss by the Green Bay Packers to the Baltimore Ravens clinched the division title for the Bears.
It’s the first division title for Chicago since 2018, and assures them a home playoff game.
There’s still plenty for the Bears to play for over the final two games of the regular season, though. Not only can they improve their seeding by finishing the year with two more wins, but they’ve still got a shot at the NFC’s No. 1 seed. That would give them a first-round bye in the postseason.
So, big thanks to the Ravens for going to Lambeau Field and pulling off the upset, especially without star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Derrick Henry’s 216-yard, four-touchdown performance kept the Ravens’ hopes alive for their own division title, and delivered one for the Bears in the process.
