WATCH: Colston Loveland joins Bears’ TD party vs. 49ers in Week 17
WATCH: Video highlight and more from Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland’s 36-yard touchdown in Week 17 against the 49ers.
What a start for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears’ passing game — including rookie first-round pick Colston Loveland — in Week 17’s Sunday night game against the San Francisco 49ers.
First, it was a 35-yard touchdown pass to second-round pick Luther Burden III to tie the game at 14.
Then, it was this 36-yard scoring strike to Colston Loveland that was the result of a ‘free play’ thanks to the 49ers jumping offsides.
Check it out:
Unfortunately for Bears fans, Chicago’s defense hasn’t figured out how to stop Brock Burdy, Christian McCaffrey, and the 49ers offense.
McCaffrey already has 89 rushing yards and a score with just under 10 minutes left in the first half.
Caleb Williams could put himself back on track for a Chicago Bears’ single-season passing record at his current pace against the 49ers. He’s already thrown for 108 yards and two scores.
We’ll have more highlights and analysis of Week 17 as the game unfolds.
