This stat proves Caleb Williams’ immediate impact for Bears
Caleb Williams is quickly delivering on the hype that came along with being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Chicago Bears are getting exactly what they hoped for when they drafted Caleb Williams.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft fought through a challenging rookie season last year, but he’s already delivering on the hype in Year 2.
If you want evidence, there’s plenty. Look no further than this stat, which proves the big impact Williams is making right away in Chicago:
The Bears have quickly turned from one of the NFL’s worst teams into one of the most promising. In Ben Johnson’s first season as head coach, he and Williams have quickly taken the offense to new heights, and there’s still plenty of room to grow. The defense still needs a ton of work, but that just shows how high the ceiling is for this team.
If the offense already looks this good in Year 1 under Johnson and Williams together, just think how dangerous the entire team can be in 2026, and in the years to come?
It’s a new era of Bears football in Chicago, and the future looks mighty bright. There’s plenty of credit to go around, but it’s clear that Williams is having a massive impact.
