Bears injury report: 1 out, 4 questionable for Week 18 finale
Check out the Chicago Bears’ final injury report for Sunday’s Week 18 regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions.
The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report for Week 18, and we’ve got some positive developments.
Only one player as been ruled out for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Detroit Lions. Defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka will miss the game, while four other players are listed as questionable.
Among those four are wide receiver Rome Odunze and defensive back Jaquan Brisker, who both have a chance to play.
Here’s the official list from the team:
It would obviously be a huge boost for the offense is Odunze is able to play, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the Bears choose to give him one more week of rest. That would keep him as fresh and healthy as possible as they enter the playoffs.
If Odunze is unable to go, the Bears have proven they have plenty of talented pass-catchers who can pick up the slack. Rookies Luther Burden III and Colston Loveland have been particularly valuable over the last few weeks.
All things considered, the Bears are fairly healthy heading into the final week of the regular season. Let’s hope they finish on a strong note with a big win, and avoid any major injuries before heading to the postseason.
