Bears Hall of Famer drops epic hype speech ahead of playoff clash vs. Packers

Chicago Bears fans don’t need any help getting hyped up for Saturday night’s Wild Card matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Games like this are why we fan, and it’s been 15 years since the NFL’s oldest rivalry squared off in the playoffs.

So, yeah, Bears Nation could hardly sleep on Friday night.

Still, it’s awesome when a Bears legend like Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary drops an epic hype video to get the juices flowing on overdrive.

“It’s been 15 years since the Bears have won a playoff game,” Singletary said. “A lot of excitement for the city, a lot of excitement about the tradition of the Bears. This young team has been playing great all year, has been fighting, scratching, kicking.

“For the playoffs, gotta start fast. And just let it go. Everything else will take care of itself. Go.”

That last part? That last ‘go’? You’d have to be dead not to want to run through a wall right now.

Singletary certainly knew how to ‘just let it go’ during his playing days.

Hopefully, the Chicago Bears will do the same on Saturday night and keep the 2025 NFL season going into the NFC divisional round.
