Bears’ assistant GM gets 2nd interview for Falcons’ GM job
The Atlanta Falcons want another interview with Chicago Bears assistant general manager Ian Cunningham, this time in person.
The Chicago Bears could be losing a key member of their front office to another NFC team.
Ian Cunningham, the Bears’ assistant general manager, is getting a second interview with the Atlanta Falcons for their GM position, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler:
This interview will be in person, as the Falcons look to round out their new front office under new head of football operations (and former quarterback) Matt Ryan.
Cunningham has been instrumental in helping Bears general manager Ryan Poles construct the roster that first-year head coach Ben Johnson led to a division title in 2025. Losing him would be a frustrating development for Chicago’s front office, but not a surprising one.
