Bears TE Cole Kmet reacts to losing OC Declan Doyle
Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet isn’t thrilled about losing offensive coordinator Declan Doyle to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Chicago Bears are looking for a new offensive coordinator after Declan Doyle agreed to take the same position with the Baltimore Ravens.
Doyle leaves Chicago after helping Ben Johnson engineer an impressive 2025 campaign for the Bears offense that helped spark a division title run.
Bears tight end Cole Kmet isn’t thrilled about losing Doyle, and had plenty of praise for his outgoing coordinator:
Johnson was still the play-caller for the Bears, but that shouldn’t undersell Doyle’s impact on the unit, as Kmet points out. If Chicago was looking to pick up where they left off next season, it’ll be harder to do now that Doyle is coaching elsewhere.
At least it’s an AFC team, right?
