What did Ben Johnson think of Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels in 2024 NFL Draft?
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson shares his predraft thoughts on Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels from 2024.
This week’s rematch of the top two picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, is sure to be one of the must-see TV moments in the NFL’s Week 6 slate.
After last year’s dramatic tilt that ended in a Hail Mary touchdown pass from Daniels that crushed Bears fans everywhere, this year’s installment is highly anticipated by NFL fans all over the globe.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson was still the offensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions when Williams and Daniels were drafted, but speaking to the media Wednesday, he shared his thoughts on both quarterbacks based on his predraft analysis back in 2024:
Johnson clearly has a ton of respect for both young quarterbacks, but he also made it clear that Williams is his guy:
This game should be another instant classic if both teams play up to their full potential, but this time around, here’s hoping the Bears come out on top.
