The Chicago Bears are preparing for a must-see TV showdown Monday night against the Washington Commanders, and they’re getting healthier in the process.

On the team’s latest injury report, there are plenty of encouraging signs, with four different players seeing updated practice participation designations from Thursday to Friday.

Defensive back Jaquan Brisker (quad), offensive lineman Jonah Jackson (rib), and running back Kyle Monangai (thigh) were all full participants in Friday’s practice. Offensive tackle Darnell Wright (elbow) was limited Friday.

Defensive back Kyler Gordon (hamstring) was also limited Friday, as was rookie tight end (hip) Colston Loveland. Veteran defensive lineman Grady Jarrett (knee) remains the only player who has yet to practice this week.

Here’s the official report from the team:

Monday night’s game will be a rematch of last year’s dramatic comeback loss for the Bears, which ended on a heart-breaking Hail Mary touchdown pass by Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

This time around, let’s hope the Bears can avoid the letdown and go home with a win. Having a positive trend in the injury department is sure to help their chances against a Washington team that could be missing some key players, including star wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
