Bears release defensive lineman ahead of Week 7 game vs. Saints
The Chicago Bears released a veteran defensive lineman as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Chicago Bears are shuffling their roster ahead of Sunday’s Week 7 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
Veteran defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon has been released, the team announced Friday:
Kpassagnon was recently signed by the Bears to bolster their depth in the wake of multiple injuries across the defensive front. With Austin Booker eligible to return from short-term injury reserve this week, Kpassagnon’s release could signal that Booker will make his return to the active roster Sunday against the Saints.
