ESPN ranks Bears’ 2025 rookies among NFL’s most impressive young stars
ESPN’s newest rankings show several Chicago Bears 2025 rookies, including Colston Loveland and Kyle Monangai, earning national praise.
The Chicago Bears’ 2025 rookie class is quickly turning into one of the NFL’s biggest surprises. ESPN’s latest rookie rankings include tight end Colston Loveland and running back Kyle Monangai — a duo already playing significant roles as Chicago pushes for an NFC North title.
And they’re not alone.
Fellow rookies like second-round picks Luther Burden III and Ozzy Trapilo have emerged as starters for Ben Johnson’s offense, and critical ones at that.
The seventh round was very kind to the Bears; it produced running back Kyle Monangai, who, entering Week 14, is among the NFL’s most productive rookie running backs.

Monangai is currently fourth among rookies with 591 yards and leads all rookie running backs with a 4.9 yards per carry average.

“this guy can do it all. He can catch the ball out of the backfield, excellent in pass protection. Got a trust level with him that’s above and beyond.” ?
