4 reasons Bears fans should stay optimistic after tough Week 14 loss to Packers
The Bears may have fallen to the Packers in Week 14, but there are still several encouraging signs for Chicago’s season. Here are four key reasons fans should remain optimistic moving forward.
Things didn’t go according to plan for the Chicago Bears in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers.
Caleb Williams’ dramatic second-half comeback was thwarted by an interception with less than 30 seconds remaining in the game, sending the Bears home to Chicago as 28-21 losers.
Now 9-4 and in second place in the NFC North, Bears fans have every right to feel bummed. But, unlike seasons past, there are plenty of reasons for Bears Nation to remain positive.
Of course, it’s easy to say a 9-4 team should be upbeat. Let’s face it, this is the first time the Bears will finish a season over .500 since 2018. But losing to the Packers in a game that felt very much like it was within reach still stings.
And when the loss was the result of one play — a bad throw by the young franchise quarterback — it stings even more.
