Bears place DB Kyler Gordon on injured reserve (again)
The Chicago Bears are placing defensive back Kyler Gordon on injured reserve for the second time this season.
The Chicago Bears have placed defensive back Kyler Gordon on injured reserve, ending his 2025 regular season, per multiple reports:
This is the second time the Bears have placed Gordon on IR, this time for a groin injury suffered during last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears signed veteran CJ Gardner-Johnson earlier this season to fill Gordon’s role in the slot/nickel corner role, and thankfully, he’s been a valuable replacement.
For this week’s game against the Cleveland Browns, Gordon’s absence will be mitigated by the fact that both Jaylon Johnson and Tyrique Stevenson should be at full strength.
Gordon would still be eligible to return to the active roster for the playoffs, should the Bears finish strong and earn their way into the postseason.
