Caleb Williams gives Bears offensive line perfect nickname after win over Browns
Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams offered the perfect nickname for his offensive line after the Bears’ 31-3 win over the Browns.
The Chicago Bears are riding high after their blowout win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. The 31-3 final score was as lopsided as it sounds, and it was a total team effort at Soldier Field.
Caleb Williams had one of his more impressive games of the 2025 season en route to the win. He completed 17-of-28 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns, and set an NFL record with only 12 interceptions thrown over his first 1,000 career attempts.
Not too shabby.
This touchdown pass to DJ Moore was pretty wild, too:

But one of the best things Williams did on Sunday was off the field, when he met with reporters after the game.
Caleb Williams’ nickname for Bears’ O-line is spot on
The Bears’ revamped offensive line has been the big story of the 2025 season. After surrendering the most sacks in the NFL in 2024, Chicago invested heavily into the starting five. In fact, four new starters now line up next to right tackle Darnell Wright.

Rookie Ozzy Trapilo is at left tackle, guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson were acquired via trade, and center Drew Dalman was a big-ticket free agency signing.
The returns have been immediate, too. The Bears entered Week 15 ranked second in the NFL in rushing, and Williams is being hit far less than he was as a rookie.
The second-year QB told reporters the nickname he gave his starting five, and it’s remarkable: The Avengers.
“I call my O-line the Avengers,” Williams said. “You got those guys up front. They give me enough time, with enough space with the receivers we got, and the special talent we have, we’ll go make plays, and when it’s not there, coach trusts me to check the ball down or go make a play for us.”
The. Avengers.
Wow. Get your t-shirt and hoodie funds ready; I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot of merch really soon.
