Bears WR Rome Odunze ruled out for Week 17
The Chicago Bears will be without wide receiver Rome Odunze for a third straight week due to a foot injury.
It’s gonna be another week without Rome Odunze for the Chicago Bears.
The second-year wide receiver has been ruled out for the third straight week, per multiple reports:
Odunze was a late scratch two weeks ago after aggravating his foot injury in pregame warmups, and he’ll now miss yet another game. It’s a huge loss for a Bears team that’s still in the running for an NFC North title and the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
Chicago will need another big day from the running game and the rest of their pass-catchers to offset Odunze’s absence. They’ll be facing a hot San Francisco 49ers team that’s also looking to improve their postseason seeding, coming off a Monday night win over the Indianapolis Colts.
We’ll see if Caleb Williams and the rest of the offense can pull off another huge win without one of their top weapons in the passing game.
