Bears injury report: 2 out, 5 questionable vs. 49ers
Check out the Chicago Bears’ final injury report for Sunday night’s big game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report for Week 17, and there’s still plenty that’s up in the air.
What’s for sure? Two players will miss Sunday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Wide receiver Rome Odunze and defensive back Nick McCloud have both been ruled out after not practicing all week.
Five more players are listed as questionable, including multiple defensive starters. Defensive backs Nahshon Wright and C.J. Gardner-Johnson are still iffy, as is linebacker T.J. Edwards.
Here’s the official list from the team:
Losing Odunze for a third straight game is obviously a huge downer for Caleb Williams and the offense, but hopefully, some of those defensive starters are still able to suit up.
There’s plenty on the line in this game, as the Bears chase an NFC North title and perhaps even the NFC’s top playoff seed and a first-round bye. They’ve already clinched a playoff spot, as have the 49ers, but both teams are still looking to move up the pecking order for the postseason.
