The Chicago Bears still have a lot to play for in the 2025 season. For the first time since 2020, the Bears are in the NFL playoffs, and could be as high as the No. 2 seed in the NFC, depending on the outcome of Week 18’s game against the Detroit Lions.

So, yeah, Bears fans are living a week-to-week existence right now.

However, we do have some critical information about the 2026 NFL schedule now that all division winners have been decided.

The Bears’ 2026 road opponents became official with the Seattle Seahawks’ victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night.

While we don’t know when each game will be played — the NFL usually releases the schedule in May — there are some favorable road contests for Year 2 of Ben Johnson’s regime.

The Falcons, Panthers, and Dolphins (as of now) are certainly winnable games. The Bills and Seahawks? Those will be fun matchups.

Indeed, the NFL is a year-to-year experience. Teams that had the Bears as one of their opponents entering the 2025 season likely thought it would be an easy win.

We know how that turned out.

Still, the Bears feel very much like a team on a rocket ship, while the Dolphins, Panthers, and Falcons still have a way to go before they have the same level of juice and excitement about their futures.
