Bears WR Rome Odunze’s 2025 regular season is over
Rome Odunze headlines the list of Chicago Bears inactive players in Week 18 vs. the Detroit Lions.
The Chicago Bears will battle the Detroit Lions in Week 18’s season finale without their top wide receiver, again. Rome Odunze will miss his fifth-straight game with a stress fracture in his foot.
And it brings his 2025 regular season to a close.
Odunze’s season ends with 44 catches for 661 yards and a career-high six touchdowns. Had he been healthy all year, he easily would’ve surpassed his 2024 totals of 54 catches and 734 yards.

The Chicago Bears are making the right call by keeping Rome Odunze on ice for the season finale. As great as the No. 2 seed would be, having Odunze healthy for the first round of the playoffs is much more important.
The Bears and Lions will kick off later this afternoon. A Bears win or a Philadelphia Eagles loss clinches the No. 2 seed. If Chicago loses and the Eagles win, the Bears will drop to the No. 3 seed.
