Bears LB T.J. Edwards carted off with leg injury vs. Packers
The Chicago Bears lost a defensive starter in the first half of Saturday night’s wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears suffered a huge blow to their defense in the first half of their wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
Starting linebacker T.J. Edwards suffered a serious leg injury in the second quarter, and had to be carted off the field:
Edwards appeared to be fitted with an air cast on his left leg before leaving the field.
The broadcast reported that Edwards was already undergoing x-rays at the stadium to determine the extent of the injury.
This is obviously a big loss for a Bears defense that has already struggled for much of the season. They’re gonna need the rest of the unit to step up if they want to beat the Packers and advance to the next round of the postseason.
