Devin Hester shares incredible moment with Deion Sanders at HOF ceremony

Chicago Bears superhero Devin Hester was cloaked in his Pro Football Hall of Fame jacket on Friday night, and he was greeted by a current Hall of Famer who served as a mentor for Hester throughout his time as a young football player: Deion Sanders.

Football is as much about relationships for the players as it is their individual careers and accolades. Nothing represents that sentiment more than Devin Hester’s raw emotions when he saw Deion Sanders. Truly remarkable.

“This moment wouldn’t be perfect without you dawg, I love you, man,” Hester wrote on Instagram.

Sanders became a mentor for Hester during his time with the Miami Hurricanes, and their bond remains as strong as ever all these years later.
