Bears activate LB Tremaine Edmunds from injured reserve
The Chicago Bears are getting a huge boost for their defense ahead of Saturday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
The Chicago Bears are getting a boost for their defense heading into Week 16.
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds has been activated off injured reserve, the team announced Saturday:
Edmunds is expected to return to the starting lineup for Saturday night’s huge rematch at home against the Green Bay Packers.
When healthy, Edmunds has been stellar performer for the Bears this season, creating tons of big plays. Considering how banged up the defense has been all year, getting a quality starter back for such a key game is massive for Chicago.
We’ll have to see if Edmunds returns to a full slate of snaps, or if the Bears keep him on a pitch count after the month-long absence.
